The link below contains some good info on propane prices in the midwest & eastern states. You can toggle on the "Data Series" field to change from residential propane prices to wholesale propane prices. Seems like the current residential lp prices are a closely guarded secret here in Illinois. Also seems to be a wide variation of prices in the various states for various reasons I guess. FYI, I just paid $2.75 a gallon here in Southern Illinois yesterday.

My LP supplier (my neighbor across the road) told me Monday past that it is at $2 here, and will likely stay at that for a while. Oh yeah, that is in Cherokee county Iowa.

I pre paid and contracted my propane last summer at a $1.37 a gallon, so I don't know how much current price is. I'm Southern IL., St. Louis area.

With prices like that I am glad I got hooked up to Natural gas last fall. I would still like to get an outside wood furnace. I know 2 guys that have tree removal businesses and I could likely get logs cheep. I cut/split/stack it.

Just went up 112% here. Was .80/ pound, 16 dollars to fill a 20 pound tank. Now it costs 34 to fill the same tank.

3.49 in Mitchell at noon today. Passed, I've got 17% left in my 500 gal tank. Can I make it 30 more days? I started with 400 gals in November.

That's a $crewjob! I noticed this week that the exchange price at Menards has stayed about the same, $18. I did see in the newspaper the other day that they are trying to raise the price of natural gas 5.5%, I was afraid of that.
