so here is the final work on the intermittent stalling on the 01 super duty. injectors were pulled and tested, three were weak, so they are new. all new o rings. new injector wiring harness.new idm module. and an impeller for the turbo. the dealer had it running today. ouch.
all that and prior to that, the fuel tank pickup and sender are new, replaced cam sensor twice, ecm replaced twice and flashed several times. filters changed, fuel system cleaned, oil + filter done, new air cleaner too. only two things that didnt get changed were the fuel pump and fuel injector pump. now that spring is around the corner, its gonna take a while to pay off the bills on this wrecker.

He probably means the HPOP (high pressure oil pump). It provides hydraulic pressure to power the fuel injectors.

Mine would stall like that and it liked to have drove me nuts in addition to lighten my wallet. Wound up being the electrical part on the ipr valve. Changed out just that part of the ipr and it hasn"t stalled since. And it ohmed out the same as the bad part.

Don't you just love these electric run complicated engines, just think of the air quality your dollars are helping save! I can breath better already, lol, glad you got it going, hate the bill your gonna get reamed with,
