O/T What I learned today.

I learned today that if you call customer service with a question and they answer the question. When you call tomorrow with the same question, you will get a different answer from Jennifer then you got the day before from Cassidy.
 
We get that all the time here at work. A guy will call in to all 3 of us and maybe even the service guys too. When we are busy we don't have time to compare notes but every so often we do and find out we all talked to the same guy about the same stuff. Mostly we all gave the same answer ! I'd like to give these people that do this to us a different answer every time just to mess with them !

This is a terrible waste of our limited resources when we are swamped. Since this person called 5 times today how many others could not get through at all ?
 
Place I used to work never had the same health ins. over 2 years in a row, at the meeting about the new ins. they said chiropractic visits were covered 100% .My back hurt and I new what they said, so when I got some bills from chiropractor I called customer serv, asked the girl if she was me and was going to ch. pract.how much money would she take with her for copay. She said $20 or whatever it was, hung up and called same number different girl same question, she said no charge. said transfer me to your super visor. Supervisor didn't seam to know and was going to study it and get back to me.
Week or so later I got a refund from the chiro-prat for everthing I paid. Mass confusion
 
I bought a 'Personal Comfort' air bed a couple of months ago. They threw in two 'memoryfoam' pillows on the deal. Love the bed, but the pillows have smelled musty since day one, like they got wet in a damp warehouse. I called customer service a couple of times, and got two different girls, and two different answers. Then, I called the rep that I bought it through, and she said she would get an answer for me and call back- that was three weeks ago. Today, another girl called and asked me how I was getting on with the bed. I told her about the problem, and she said they would send out two new pillows.

By the way, this is an air bed that the exact same thing as a 'Sleep Number' bed, but at about half of the jingle. Daughter has a SN, and is upset that ours cost less and is every bit as good....We love the thing...
 
15 yr.s ago a very good friend died. no living relatives around here. We got a call from the attorney saying my wife and I were named co-executor and co power of attorney which meant that all business had to have my wife and me there as one could not sign for the other. I was glad she thought enough of us to do that but the co part made it hard.
 
Just got off the phone with uscellular. My wife is filipina..and she makes calls to the philippines to talk to family once in awhile. Two months ago..the rate was .25/min. Suddenly with no warning..they charged us 2.25/min. This was explained to us after the phone calls were made. No warning rates were going up 4x. After 8 phone calls..I got someone who was willing to write down the charges if I bought their international plan for 3.99/mo. Fine. 20 minutes later the phone rings..and they tell me they cant write the bill down. I say fine..Ill just go to verizon tomorrow and switch phone companies. Lady says just a minute. After a short hold..she comes back and offers me the same thing I agreed to 20 minutes before with the other lady....
