I never went on there ,this morning I Was playing around and saw they have Antique Tractor Sale ,,,dont know how I Found it,,but I did,,,saw a nice older cub with cultivators fert attactment and lister planter with plates,,,it really looked good to me,,,,,,,good thing its far away,,,,north carolina,,,,,,or I Would be dreaming again,,,,,I want a cub,,,,but can not justify it,,,,,lol

How does someone justify spending hundreds of dollars on lottery tickets or high priced beer at a club. If you want it and get it priced right go for it, unless it deprives you or your family something more essential, plus its a asset, remember your brothers collection.

no ,I dont really NEED it,,,I wish I Knew how to post a link of it so you could see why it atrracted me,Im kind of stupid even thinking about it,I Plant too much now, cant imagine how nuts I Would go if I did get something like that.

33 bids and it's up to $2600. At least the reserve has been met. High Point is right at me but I don't see anything in the ad that makes me think it's worth that. I expect it's rare to find a good fertilizer distributor but planters are common here. Not really much equipment there. It appears to have just been washed and is still wet in the pictures.

I've owned one and my father owns one and my neighbor owns one and I just don't think it's worth that. $1,600 maybe but not $2,600. I wouldn't buy one over the internet because it's way to much that could be wrong with them that would bother you but the seller didn't feel it was a big deal or never noticed. If the true user is diseased, his son probably never knew what was wrong with it--just that his dad "didn't use it much". His son sold it to this guy who though the price was right to make some money on it. He drove it around the yard and proclaimed it to be working and thus it's in excellent shape. I actually had rear tires on the cub I bought that look like they were never been used. While attaching implements I noticed a big, nasty bulge on the inside sidewall then got hit in the face with a very, very thin stream of water. Trying to find where it was coming from it turned out to be the other rear tire. They were so cut up inside they could only be replaced and the rims were rusting inside bad too. Make sure you look extra good under grease and dirt as cracks in castings hide quite well too.

They don't sell well around here either there's to many Super A's, 100/130/140's around and that's what folks want....I have had a few Cubs I sold them they are underpowered to do any real work with them...

Larry, there is a ton of info and you can ask any questions you have over at Farmallcub.com.
Very nice group and very knowledgeable about Cubs.
