My local Ploughing Society held their 99th annual ploughing competition last Saturday, in nice dry weather....it did get a bit cold after noon, but at least it stayed dry! There was 145 tractor entries and 35 teams of horses. We break the tractors into classes like we have a Ferguson class, an International class and a David Brown class. We also have vintage lift classes and vintage trail classes and World style. My son took some pics for you guys.........

did cotinental Europe have a mild winter, I thought I heard once they did, we sure aren't having a nice one in the states

This is something I could see my self getting into.

I know there's some competitions up and Canada but I've never heard of one in my area.

Maybe someday...

Sam great pictures! Please post more. I plow in a couple of matches a year in the US, were lucky to get 10 people in our state match, and maybe 30 in our national match, seeing 135 plowmen at once would be amazing. Mike

Interesting, I've never seen a wheel on the left side of a 3 pt plow.

I thought you were going to post a pic of snow plowing.
