Bush Hog Front End Loader 2245 QT

Hey guys,
My FIL has a Bush Hog brand 2245 QT FEL on his Kioti compact tractor. There is a lot of play in the 4-way joystick to operate the loader. He is looking to get a replacement. The tradtor did not come with a manual or specs for the loader, I am having trouble finding them online.
Does anyone know what he should look for for a replacement. The dealership quoted him $900 for a replacement and this seems like a lot.
Any info on how to get specs or an item numberr for a replacment?

I have a small Bushhog loader as well.

When the joystick gets loose on it it is because the bolts come loose that hold the linkage under the rubber boot at the base of the lever.

Your looseness may be internal but check those bolts first.

Do you have any pictures of it. I have the same loader and mine has a Duke valve on it or so I am told. Mine has a lot of slop in it also. On mine the slop is coming from the ball on the end of the control lever. I am going to take and weld the hole in the plate where this ball sits and make a smaller hole. If that does not work I have a new valve here off from a New Holland loader that fits a TC 29. I am going out to my shop in a bit and I think that I have the sale brosure for that loader. It may tell in it

This is on a 2400QT loader and the allen head screws come loose and also the rod ends have some wear in them. Should be able to get replacement rod ends from Mcmaster Carr.

Mine has a complete different valve setup. What yours has is like the New Holland set. The add for the loader frame that I looked at says that it was available with 3 valve options.On mine it looks like a reg control valve but the handle has a ball on it past the spool end on the valve. This ball sets in a flat plate and this plate is connected to the spools on the valve. It allows you to rotate the handle 360 degrees
 
If you need to replace the joy stick go to surpluscenter.com They have a 3 spool 25 gpm for 381.95 plus freight 6 spool for 450 they are in lincon NE Just got my 2014 cataloge from them good prices Dale
