this cub sat along side the road all last fall with a for sale sign on it,Now it sat there all winter getting snow blasted many times by the snowplow trucks,I had to take a picture of it.

Thats tractor abuse!! Go buy at and give it a good home! LOL.

In my opinion to let a tractor you are selling out by the road like that day after day only goes to sho everyone that it was not taken care of much if at all.
 
How much are they asking for it? It isn't getting any better sitting out there. Years ago, I tried to buy a 550 Oliver that was for sale in the neighborhood. The guy wanted $6K for it, it needed some work. It sat for 9 freakin years, the tires went flat, but he never came down in price. It finally went for scrap. If he couldn't get his price, nobody was going to get it. He inherited it, he figured it was worth that much, or that's what dad had told him?
 
Wow! Is that one of the last year cubs?

He must be asking a fortune for it... It's a shame, because I have been looking for one, but, I'm not paying high retail if it is being treated like that.
 
I stopped early last fall when it was just put out,the sign said 2,800 the rims were rotted looking,and there was jumper cables on the seat,I didnt make an offer,and it had no fast hitch

You can buy those in ohio for around 1500.I've seen some older ones under 1000.Those and 8N fords have dropped a lot in the last couple years.
