Trees being blown down and signs etc also. One place in town called China town which is a restaurant had there sign blow down on top of a car with 2 people in that car. I was fixing a friends Case 580B back hoe today, Broken hyd hose and had to pull a tree out of the road so I could go back to town. There saying wind gust up to 50 plus here in Missouri. There is also a number of fires in this area and many fire fires are out trying to put them out

Funny thing was my pick up hood was up when I got back home. I have had it up just a little bit due to having a battery maintainer on it so the winds are strong enough to take a 1980 Chev pick up hood for being open say 3 inches to full open

Be careful, Old!

We are supposed to have winds like that tonight here too - but getting heavy snow right now. Winds will pick up later to sustained levels of over 40 m.p.h and with winds gusting to 50 m.p.h.

I sure everyone makes it to their homes before that crud blows into the area... with all this fresh snow - it "ain't" going to be pretty.

Odd thing was that is got up to around 74 then by 2 or 3 the temps had dropped to 46. Hard on a person when temps jump that much that fast

I know what your talking about Old. I live south of California,Mo and its terrible outside. Built a new house 2 years ago and had shingles blow off last month when the wind was bad. Got them put back on and now there coming off again. Sometimes a guy feels like he just can win. Be careful out there

Hey old, went to my dads to check his cows this afternoon, on my way back, the wind had blowed this machine shed across highway 68. Like you said, high of 70 then dropped to 40 in no time. Recipe for a tornado.

keep safe. we live in the hills in California and it can get real windy here. that's why when they say a storm is coming i say we gotta batten down the hatches, cause if you don't, it'll be gone. the old man has 2 old vehicles here with the hoods blown completely off. take care of yourself old, i still need a lot of advice lol :)

The wind here in Lyons Co have been blowing for the last 3 weeks. 30 to 40 mph with a high gust of 74 mph. It is like this most the time in the winter, you just get used to it. I spend a lot of time indoors and sleeping in the basement. Today was nice only 25 mph and a high of 23.

So another Missouri person on here. Never been to California MO even though I have lived in Missouri for 34 years now. My shop roof took a nit and some of the tin has blown off of it. Plus one piece of plywood was blown off the back side of my horse barn

Been by St James and Vichy MO. Lots of fires down this way close to Tunnel dam. From what the news said wind up to 68 MPH where in Missouri this afternoon

If you ever make a trip up this way your more than welcome to stop by. Be glad to show you our Ford collection. We"ve got 23 tractors and several pieces of equipment.

I'm about 9 miles southwest of California. About 2 miles from the small town of Latham. Hwy 87 goes between Eldon and California and I am down Hwy F about 5 miles. Hwy F turns west off of 87 about 3 miles south of California

Yeah you can take 87 through California to Jamestown then 179 to I 70 then on in to Columbia. It's always nice to take the scenic route once in a while and look for old equipment sitting around

If/when I would stop by it would be on my way back home. That way I would have time and if I got dirty no big deal. Always seems when I get close to a tractor the grease some how just jumps off and has to stick yo me some place. LOL
