Does anyone know of a mechanic or company that can evaluate a John Deere excavator in Front Royal Virginia? I am looking to purchase the machine but I need someone far more knowledgeable than I to let me know if I am buying a good machine. Thanks

You should be able to find out if the local JD or Cat dealer has mechanics go out and check out equipment. Or for that matter most independents will do it too. Most will do a good job too because they want you as a customer. They will charge for it but it's way better to spend a little to save a lot.

Leroy Prinze that has a shop down just South of you near Luray should be able to check it out for you and is an honest guy.His shop will be on the right on US 340 before you get to Luray.Another place would be to get a mechanic from Louderback Equipment in Stanley to check it out good folks to deal with.
