Lightning Really?

I live on the east side of London Ontario.It's snowing and blowing and now lightning.I think it's time to go to bed and pull the covers up over my head.

Old saying goes "Thunder in Feb, Frost in May." It held true for us last year.

Across the river in ILL. it was always lightning in Jan. frost in May. I've seen it true on both months through.

Feller down by Pineville woke em up already. Was handling a rattler in church other night. Critter bit him on hand three times. They called EMS for medical help. He refused help. He bought the farm about 2 hours after being bitten. Said he had survived single bites in years before.

Old wives tale here is that the first killing frost in the fall comes six months after the first lightning of the year. I"ve written it down.... some years really close.
