Sunday I did not get any Eagle pictures, but someone else had put out some corn and bread, even though it says not too...!

hat's a heckuva good shot. Belongs on a calendar. I saw an eagle today here on the barren plains of NWIA. It was perched on a small pile of dead hogs getting a free lunch. Jim

It's the 'rare' picture of the cardinal pair together! They usually feed separately! Seems difficult to capture them together!

Not long after we came here I put out a big feeder for the birds
I saw a pair of these birds come by they only stayed a short
time befor moving on. I had to my book out to find that they
grosbeaks neat little birds.

I'm no ornithologist, but I'm thinking the one on the left may be a grosbeak (has no top-knot), and the one on the right a female cardinal.

They are definitely male and female cardinals;
sometimes the male won't let the female eat with
him and sometimes he will.
I was talking to a guy last night who says the Bald
Eagles are eating his cardinals!
I like both birds.

omahagreg; thanks for sharing. Yup, cardinals and they have been singing in SW Wisc. since early February; a sure sign of spring. The male is relaxed as his 'crest' in not up. Often times I see a male feeding his mate sunflower seeds...neat!
