Seeing you frequent this board and reading in the archives, I need the fluid types and capacities for a diesel Oliver 1650 with Hydraul-shift. A friend of mine has broken the fork and the victim will have to be drained, filters changed and then the proper transfusions. Thanks in advance for your or any ones reply.

Hydralectric with 3pt? Hydraulics use 20 quarts. The oil will depend on whether or not he shares implements with other tractors. I run a Hy Guard/Hy tran type in mine,but if you aren't sharing implements any good 303 type hydraulic oil is fine.
The transmission and final drive uses 32 quarts of 80-90 gear lube.

JD 303 or a 303 equivelant is a trans-draulic fluid, JD replaced 303 with Hygard.
