I leave for work around 3:45 am, been really pretty the last few nights.

Years past when I worked the afternoon shift, would get home around 3AM, and would stop at the barn to check on the cows (used to calve this time of year).

Really liked those nights with snow on the ground, really cold with no wind, a full moon, walking around the barn lot to check on things.

Boy, was I dumb. grin

It was full and bright orange here. Here's a poor pic. from here. My camera is screwed up and won't zoom anymore so the moon looks like a pin head, but it was quite spectacular for about 5 min. before the clouds blew under it.

I hear ya, Fred. Doesn't get very cold here that often, but I remember one night with wind blowing about 30 and temp about 10°, and I was feeding in the barn. Cows were blowing so much steam it looked like the feed bunk was on fire. As I doled out the hay, they looked at me like "Hey, boss, we're doin' fine, thanks for the hay and thanks for the barn."

It came up here at 1810 Spectacular. Alan, let me know when you see it. Bright orange against cobalt blue sky here.

Loren, it's clouded over here now too! Why is that case sitting out in the snow? Even Jim's 3/4s dead 730 is under cover! Hehehe

I have too many, HeHe.
Did R Imps bring back Jims 1690? I talked to Wes the other day about locating an engine oil pump, and he said they located a complete running engine.
Loren, the Acg.

I talk to Jim about 3 weeks ago he said both tractors were still out for repairs. I should be getting a call from him very soon to take care of his beefers, while he has fun in the sun in Florida! Lol

absolutely beautiful here in MA - all the tree branches are coated in clear ice, and they look amazing with the moonlight behind them.

Wish I could find a camera, but there's no way a picture could do it justice anyways.

Missed it, clouds, but er uh since my last post, I got called back out to plow, had everything back in the garage too, getting ready to fix dinner, but when your friends blower and plow truck is down at the same time.... got to do what you got to do, always look forward to the full moon too. I'll say this, running an old tractor hard all day and pushing to help the walk behind blower in between, is enough to make you rethink your game, this snow won today, oh and its been cleared, its just I that I can't move now, tired and sore LOL !! Think spring !!!!!!!!!!!!
