Ya'll doin' OK now? Hope you got power back and everybody's OK.
Got bombarded with snow up here in WNC but this afternoon was sunny and really quite nice. Maybe tomorrow our road will clear off and things will be back to normal, sorta.

All fine here lost power for 45 min. Mom lost power probably for several days, she is here with us . Suppose to be in the 60s here tomorrow.

Yep got up around 50 here today and boy was the mud bad. Still have a frozen pipe going to the horse water tanks but that is not uncommon. As for your arm you may have pulled a muscle

We really don't have "normal" around here anymore. Glad most of you are back at it. Good luck on getting power back. Read in another post that there was a battalion of power company trucks heading to points south.
No issues so far on the overworking the snowplow. If it were better weather, I woulda been splittin' wood. I really like those tools that work everytime you need 'em and don't cost a wad to maintain.

I never lost power. I guess it was all in timing between the dry snow, the sleet and the thaw we had yesterday. Roads are OK, but the parking lot here at work is a solid sheet of ice. The way the place is all the water from the lot and roads goes into a drainage pond behind the warehouses, and all of that snow that melted yesterday has froze over solid covering 99% of the parking lot. Ive got trucks stuck in ice in 2 spots its so thick there.

We got by easier than predicted.. In the Upstate, little if any ice, just dry snow.. Interstates were clean and dry by early afternoon Thursday. Smaller roads did re-freeze last night, but should all melt off soon.

Got up over 50 yesterday. Was very slushy yesterday. Iced over real good last night. Except for the 2 large chicken house collapses, I have not heard of much damage here in Oconee County. Supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. In the southeast, if you don't like the weather here today, just wait til tomorrow.

PS. My thumbs are turning green. I want to get in the garden so bad.

Had about 6 inches, but some blew and drifted so hard to tell. Sun came out Thursday afternoon and sure did help matters. Supposed to warm up into the upper 40s today, 50s Saturday, maybe 60s Sunday.

Full moon and clear last night. Moon reflecting off the snow sure did light up things. The sun reflecting off the snow brightens up the house considerably.

No power out here. Hope they restore it for people who are without power.
