We were below zero this am, now it's 13* out and 10-16" of snow predicted. It's gonna be a mess.

Snow just started here. As soon as its deep enough to plow I'll be out clearing drives so, worse comes to worse, EMT and FD can get to those that can't keep it clear for themselves. Little thing but makes me happy.

Our daughter lives in Falls Church, VA, just outside of DC. But, she grew up here in Nebraska so she's used to it.

It's the locals she needs to be wary of.

Ja, it's sposed to start here any time now. Heavy snow- we're right in the bullseye- high winds and close to a foot or so. Hopefully on the light side of 'so'.....They also said that it may warm up just enuf to make it 'heavy'- the kind that brings down trees and powerlines....

Yup, high winds, and about 12" for us in PA. Already probably 6-8" on the ground. This is the longest cold spell I can remember. I kinda like it. I will take frozen and cold over warm and mud....
