I worked with a guy who fit that description! He always said, "cross threads are better than no threads!" He also said, "If I can't fix it, I'll fix it so no one can." and he taught me all about German torque specs. "Guttenteit!"

when I bought my truck from Father in Law he had a oil change done at wally world. I went to change oil a couple thousand miles later and the drain plug was in cross threaded, how in the world they could do that? Some times I think the persons mother should have womaned up and swallowed! Lol
