Looks like a good place to build a dam, and store some of it. Like me can't get it to run up hill in the summer. lol
 
I misjudged the depth of the snow out in the field. Hadn't been able to haul manure in at least three weeks so I hadn't been out there. I just went across the field with the FWA tractor and didn't think I was gonna make it. It was hopping a little.
 
going down the road the other day seen a new use for all the snow windbreak a guy had cows in a open field he had pushed a long high mound together and from the amount of manure on the downwind side it looked like it worked
 
I've used the loader to pile snow on the north side of the hog houses. About 7 feet of snow there keeps the wind from blowing between the tin sheets. I though about curving some around the south east corner but it got too cold and I quit!
 
I remember back to the time we had snow! It looked a bit like your place....Distant and not very fond memories!!!!!!

I helped a buddy this morning cut wood to make room for a house he's building next summer. One morning and I've had enough of carrying firewood thru 24" of snow. We were using a front wheel assist Zetor and without the assist we wouldn't have even made it to the woods.
 
Walt, if you don't like the amount of snow there, you'd hate it here in IL. It's piled so high at intersections and entrances to driveways that it blocks driver's vision.

Apparently the Russians don't want visitors fishing for sewer bass in the toilets.
That's hilarious but I suspect some US bureaucrat will see that sign and think it's a good idea and make a rule that US businesses have to display a no toilet fishing sign.
 
While you got that snow, I'll trade you 10" of it for the 4" of wet snow and 1/2" of ice we got right now......
