Rear tractor tires

Got these 2 tires and rims from a tractor dealer yesterday. 11.2-34 on JD MT rims. Armstrong USA made that look like have had almost no use. Going to use one on my 51 VAC to replace an old Goodyear that I have been sewing up and putting boots in for about 4 years. New ones from Miller are $625 each. Got these with rims for $250 and my friend bought them for me since he plows his garden with my VAC. Hope to sell the rims and give him some of his money back. The Armstrongs match the one good tire on the VAC.
How did I do?

Outstandng. You should be able to sell the rims one way or another, especially since appear to be in great shape.

Years ago I bought a small tractor from a friend going through a divorce that needed the money. Had fairly new turfs on it, about 90% which still made them worthless. The Deere guy set me up with new rears and asked me if he could donate the the turfs to some elderly couple that were far from wealthy. I have no idea what kind of tractor they had or were using it for, but felt real bad for them. They were about to get stuck with turfs, about 90% of useless. My fear was that given their age, them things were going to push them over the edge, but who am I to get in the way of fate? I rode off on new rears just the same. I think back then was about $800 for two.

Good luck, and you did very well. Oh yeah, don't be given that stitched up tire to any elderly folks. Just because I'm mean doesn't mean that you have to be mean too.

Can't beat that price. I bet you could darn near sell one tire and two rims for that price and have a free tire.

Ha! I just found out that Titan which are on my tractor is a GoodYear derivative. Okaye. So what. Fine I guess.
