OT - Will 1999-2002 Chevy rims fit 88-98 Chevy trucks

I am guessing they will but just want to see if anyone knows for sure. I have a 1994 Chevy with 6 bolt wheels and am looking for tires. Found a guy with 4 tires and rims but from like a 2001 or so Chevy. Will his rims fit my truck? I attached a pic of his rims. Thanks

My 1991 Chevy 1/2 ton rims will NOT fit my 2002 GMC 1/2 ton.
The dish is different. The 2002 has larger calipers.

That is a maybe. I have found that all the 6 hole Chev rims have the same bolt pattern but not all have the same dish so as to clear the brake parts. If you have drum brakes on the back a rim from a 1969 truck will fit o the rear but not on the front because the rim will hit the brake calipers.

The 2002 will definitely fit on the 1994, and according to myboltpattern.com, the offsets are available in 4-25mm on both rims. The 2002 would have required the 16" rims to clear the brakes, so 15" rims from earlier trucks wouldn't likely fit on a newer truck. Most 4x4 had 16" rims though. The newer trucks are still 6x5.5, but the stud is 1.3MM bigger, so the holes are likely bigger.

The 6 bolt aluminum rims from my 1988 will not fit my 2000 with 6 bolt rims. The bolt pattern is the same but the calipers on the rear of the 2000 are bigger than the drums on the 1988.

They will fit. Pretty common swap for the 88-98 guys back when the 1999-2002's were new and guys were taking the tires and wheels off and going with big fancy wheels, could but a set of alloy wheels with tires for pennies on the dollar.
