We have had nothing like you guys back east/North, but here in the Banana Belt (Salida CO)it has been to darn cold. Going to be below zero tonight. Us Monkeys are no going to make it. LOL

Oh to be about 10 years old. The snow piles around here, you could build an elaborate system of tunnels and such. I'm 57 and tempted!

Look at it this way, we are way past Dec 21, winter solstice, days are longer, sun gets stronger, greenhouses have planted already and it only gets better before you're busier than heck, wondering why you're not better prepared, but I agree, it can't be over soon enough, 4 weeks the clocks go ahead, then it goes quickly.

I have had enough too but,what are you gonna do? It seems like its been cold forever! It got cold out the end of October and hasnt let up at all. I didnt see any January thaw this year,generaly we catch a break somewhere along the line but not this winter if its not -10 then it has been 15 windy and snow fall , repeat ...

Tunnels are really dangerous. There have been several reports of them collapsing on the kids and suffocating them. And then there are the ones that are in there when the snow plow comes and runs them over.
Best for them to stay up top where they can be seen.
