ih 300 utility problem

I have a 300 utility w/PS Dual hydraulics and fast hitch. The fast hitch will not raise at all, but the power steering works fine. Checked the fluid level and that is fine.

The lever can come loose on the valve control rod,
There could be ice in the cylinder as they are a low spot, the system pilot regulator valve could be stuck not allowing it to go to system pressure. What do you hear when moving the FH control lever? Jim

the lever has some play in it. I do not hear any whining or other noises when I move the lever. I removed the plug on the back side of the check valve, o ring looked good and no debris inside. Have not checked the spring or ball on front side of valve. The cylinder has no leaks.

We have one that did that and the control handle slipped on the shaft so the handle moved but the valve did not. I ended up drilling a small hole and put a roll pin in the hole to lock the handle to the shaft

If it is way cold, give it some heat, or wait till it is warmer, then see if H2O will drain out of the reservoir before the Hytran. If no joy, it may be that pilot/regulator being stuck. Jim
