Model D emergency brake

Hi,
I'm working on a D that someone has removed part of the emergemcy brake. I can't find photos that show how the assy went together and how the band was anchored. Any info will be greatly appreciated. All I found in the belly when I drained the gear lube was one small cotter key.

What brand of tractor? There are a number of D's around

What year D? Early tractors had an internal hand operated brake in the transmission case, later ones were external foot operated brake, rice models had no brake at all. John Deere parts books available on line show related parts. Hope this helps.

I don't know the year. S/N 126854. It does not have a foot brake.
