After-market steps

this was an after-market step made in the mid '60's. (this was for a MM M670). They were red when new. Anyone know who made these?? I'd like a couple sets if you have them for sale?

Those are factory MM steps. They first appeared on the M670 Supers and G1000 models in 1966. Might have been used in late 1965 but otherwise 1966 and after.

Alan - I have two other (later model 670's - a '68 & '70) that do not have these steps. Were they optional??

To my knowledge they were all factory equipment. I did some looking in the parts books. They are on the G1000s but not the G900s. I have a 1966 M670 Super with them. Here is a picture off of the internet of a 1969 or 1970 M670 Super with them on. Unless MM didnt list them in the books but were an option. I didnt see them in G900 literature either. Good question.
