I have a John Deere 7000 6 row planter. There is a set of John Deere row cleaners for sale. They are the disc type and adjustable up and down. They are not the floating type. Will they work for no-till corn on corn? Thanks

Not very well.

Fingered cleaners work much better.

They remove the trash without moving much dirt.

I have the Yetter finger type on my 7000. does a good job but plows if the ground isnt flat. I put a rawson strip till cart on the front and that does a perfect job. I can plant in knee high clover in dry conditions and still get a good stand. does take a few ponies to pull it though.

I tried Yetter combo units last year on a Case IH. They have the floating shark tooth with depth bands. I loved the row cleaners but took the torch to those no till coulters. I planted on mismatched rows 30" vs 36" with no issues. really liked how those shark tooth chewed through the stubble. I can't see that a disk style would work as well. No tilled into double planted bean stubble on the 6th of June and had the best corn ever raised. Averaging 275
