We had a 1950 L-70,IIRC. We bought it in 1956. It was a pretty good farm truck.

i really enjoyed your video... is there any chance you would be able to do a walk through showing all of the inside in the cabin the Dash and the Gauges, under the bonnet.. can you talk about the engine and how it works.... I've just bought one and it is great to see one that actually runs. i have done so much searching online to find videos but there is nothing out there about the L-160.. mine is crank start but it has an electronic start thank heavens.

I would be glad to provide you with any information you may need, I have the original IH service manual plus I did a lot of work on the truck and can give tips and advice in that area.

That is a nice looking L160 but I could not get the video to play. I have a similar truck in the next series. This is my R160 driving and working around the farm.

Thanks, that one played just fine. I like to see a well preserved original condition truck. Both of mine have been repainted but so many years ago that I almost think of them as original.
