I've seen that! Amazing what machines can do...

And think, those machines are OLD! Designed without Cad-cam, or anything fancier than a drafting table and real imagination!

And when you see the pirate movies, and the Roman gladiators, and Sampson... All chained up with those welded link chains... Wonder where they got them?

Ingenious the methods they come up with to manufacture some things. The force they'd have to use to bend some of the bigger stuff is crazy. Hard to imagine really.
DO they have a different narrator down there? I've only ever heard a woman narrating it.

My uncle told me his dad, my grandfather, died 1917, made a dog chain from fencing staples. heated then in a forge and welded them.
