You need to grow some 'keeper tomatoes' they will last well into the Winter if picked green before the fist frost in the Fall,wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a cool place.Plus the tomato juice my wife canned last Summer is a good 2nd to fresh tomatoes.
 
Nothing like fresh tomatoes from the garden. Do any of you start your own seeds? Wife and I went to town, I saw these and couldn't resist, it's fun watching them sprout and grow. Need to wait at least a couple more weeks.
