Found a used dyno that does not work. I have
never used one and would like to try some of my
tractors on one. Are they hard to repair?
I have no idea how they are made. Thanks for any
help.

I bought one for $200.00 that had not been used in fifteen years. the problem turned out to just be mud in a 3/16 oil line. It cost me peanuts to fix. You could start by posting the brand or a picture. You will need to just dig in a little and see what you find. It is likely that it is a water brake, which is pretty simple, but it could have had water left in it and it froze up.
