not that i would want to yet, still a lot of good parts, i wounder how much weight there is and how much could you get for scrap price,,, could buy me some restored one,,lol

That's not Tractor Heaven, that's Tractor He11!!! Look at all the lost tractor souls writhing in pain. Dismembered! Rusted! Oh the anguish!

Well maybe it's just purgatory and they are working to get to tractor heaven. Waiting for the day they are again in like new condition plowing in the fields for a loving master.

I thought maybe you were at the place below, but not enough snow and no goats!

(And, HOPEFULLY, the folks there are less crabby!)

If it was "Tractor Heaven" wouldn't all of the tractors be restored back to their glory with 0 hours on them? This looks more like all of them that didn't accept their savior and went south!

Wow. Nice yard. We have on in northern Colorado like that. Lots of good parts to be had for older machines. I used to go out there just to look. Kind of like walking back in time. They will let you pull your own parts too. I stopped in one day to look for parts for an old DJ A I was working on and the owner jokingly said he should charge a fee for looking as many people just walk the property to look and never buy anything. I did get lucky that day and found an A that had a power block in it with pistons and it was not stuck. Ran home and took tools back to tare it down and took the block, pistons and rods home. He knew what he had and charged a pretty high price, but I was happy just to get the parts.

Yes this yard is in Germantown IL.
the little tractor in the center of the last picture I'm not sure what brand it is but that same little tractor is in close up in the 3rd last picture. It had a 2 cylinder Kubota Diesel Engine in it.
I wanted to be nice and call this tractor heaven but yes you could call it tractor purgatory. Either way it's most likely the final resting place for all the tired iron souls...

Prawn Farmer, Yes their main yard is in Mo. I've never been there but they say it's huge. Going there is on my bucket list...LOL!

John B.,
Great photos!

Love pics 2 and 3... the orange, the blue in the foreground... and a sea of green in the background.

Of course, love the rusty John Deere...really neat how the John Deere decal remnant shows up in a different shade of rust than the rest of the hood. Is it a B? Must be a late one with the electric-start and the pressed frame.

Rusty H is great... though I am an F-series fan.

Bird nest is cool! Thanks for posting all.

We have a local guy that calls his place the retirement home for tired engines. He keeps the place looking good, but the tractors are not started or used. He has rows of the old stuff outside. The models that are the horse power numbers. The building is tall enough that he has an extended roof line, past the side of the building and they are stuffed with tractors also. He has one of everything. (almost). They are all dead by now and will be a lot of work to restore when he dies and they are finally sold.

Their name is Cooks Tractor. buy-sell-auction-salvage. Located in what I guess would be considered south-central Illinois. Very nice area up there that still has several dairy operations.
