been kinda busy with mom lately.. mom is 91 ,, so I guess its par for the course, mom survived br ea st cancer in 1998, but now,, TESTS REVEALED , she has terminal colon cancer ,kinda what we all feared .. she had another blood transfusion ,and she really is chipper ,,for now. FOR A WHILE ,she is all there , but slippin ;;;.although advancing in years, my mom enjoyed a middle aged persons active life style until Dad passed away in aug 2008 .. ...she was pops' cheerleader,.and for all of us for that matter.....don't know how this will go ,,time will tell if we get another Ch ri stmas with her ...i just pray,,and ask for prayers of pain free peacefulnes in her end days ... God, I think she deserves that..ThanKs for listening, Guys .
 
My Mom had to get transfusions every two weeks for the last year of her life. No one could find the cause. Finally found a large growth in her brain that most likely started from the cancer in her lungs. She lived pretty normal up until that started putting pressure on her brain and she went within 2 wks. Prayers sent for your Mom. Just keep giving the blood when she needs it as long as it helps.
 
Today, most of us have been through it ourselves, or know someone close who has, so you have plenty of company that understands what you are going through. Prayers sent.
 
Just try to remember the good times. Thankfully my Mom went in about 3 hrs, telling stories up until almost the end.

Lost my 53 yr old sister to colan cancer little over a year ago. Scared the bejeppers outa my Mom when I had heart attack last May day after turning 53 myself.
