how much fluid will a 12.4x38 hold? going to use Rv anti freeze to fill the tires on my H farmall and only want to make 1 trip to wally world thanks up front for the help.

Windshield wiper fluid is a good bit cheaper and Orchenlens some times has it on sale plus if your over 50 they give a 5% discount on Wednesdays and if form Military they give a 5% discount on Tuesdays. I got some not long ago for $1.39 per gal

The wiper fluid works just as well?

Before you put that stuff into your tire put a jug into your freezer and see if it freezes. Even if it only becomes slushy it can damage the tire as the ice is gong to act like an abrasive. I am also concerned because it may contain ethanol and water which will separate in the summer leaving a vapor and water.

Would used glychol (spelling?) antifreeze work? Most retailers and service centers are required to accept used antifreeze from consumers at no-charge. It is collected and sold to recyclers.

If you offer to pay 2 to 4 times what the recycler pays you might get all the used antifreeze you need pretty cheaply.

It's not as heavy as calcium , besides your filling the tubes ,not the tires so how can it rot the rims unless you get a flat . My wd45 has calcium for 5 years now because I pull her, and no problem with the rims , but the down fall is that she wobbles a little when I parade at high speed ( a little scary )

Try your local wrecking yard, they save and sell anti freeze, and most sell it cheap.
