(What is my dad thinking)

I got this call three weeks ago my dad wants me to fix and restore a plow system for the farmall M. I had bought the #39 plow system at grand terrace tractors when Mr Walt past away. I thought sine I had a John Deere 70 D and the farmall M I could use them later after I fixed them up because I was going to rent 3 acres to grow a vegetables in. Well my dad had asked for the Farmall M last year and now he wants my plows plus he wants me to fix them up and restore them just for him. Here are some pictures of my allis Chalmers moveing them around yes I know I got a ton of work to do on the plows. Enjoy.(L.O.L)Brent

I think you need to hurry up and get them ready for your dad by spring ! LOL !!!
Enjoy every bit of time you can spend with him .

A good sanding disc will be needed to remove the rust and DO NOT try to plow deep to get the bottoms to scour shallow will work to get them working. Many old timers have told me thats the way to get them to scour by not going deep.

Brent I have noticed that it is common to have rock/block walls around homes in southern CA. I am not talking mansions either just regular everyday homes. What is the reasoning behind the walls?? Is the crime that bad??

I think that is where you are at ???

Poor little mustang sitting all alone there. Is that a '67 or '68? I noticed the turn signal hood. I have a '66 that has been restored.

About this poor 1968 Mustang coupe. It is a friends of mine that came and put it right there it still sets and looks very sad. He lost his home and had no place to park it so I gave him a spot for it. Yes I do to have a 1967 Mustang coupe all restored they are a very nice car to drive.

I have one acre of property that is in Riverside Ca. I have apartments around me and one Christain school next to me plus across the street Ca.Baptise Univeersity. I live in a very nice old house built back in 1914 it was the first home for the swiss dairy. Yes I have a block wall around all my property but it does not keep the thives alway (L.O.L ). When I up at parents visiting the thives our looking around and takeing what they want. I do have a alarm system but it does no good cops just give me a foarm tell me to fill it out andgive to insuance company. I have looked for other places to move to but I to need to find work.

You are right Kornfused that is a allis challmers model B the year is 1950. This tractor is my first restoration that I ever done and is well loved by me. I use it around my house it pulls my disc set and I some times go out and do some bodys property with it to. It has always started up and has always ran great for me. it is not like the other tractor I do have. some of the other ones are a pain to work not this Aliis Chalmers. Thanks for your comment it made my day.Brent

As we get older our fathers will tell us what they did when they where growing up. My dad grew up on a farm right here in Riverside Ca. Where the farm use to set is now all city (shopping center and apartments). I got in to restoreing farm equipment because at the time it was a rare differnt thing to do.Now look at it every body is in doing it.My dad is 84 years old and still going strong. He calls me every morning just to see where I am in restoreing these plows. The funny part is we still have not talked a price on selling them to him.I might never sell them but I'll let him help me restore them just so he can use them. Brent
