Friction discs came, now we can go back the other direction.

Even broke down and stuffed a new rear main seal in 'er while we were in the neighborhoos and bought her an oil change also.

Damned old truck will probably run away with me now. :>)

Don't think the new trucks can chase cows. I backed the work truck up, stopped, and shifted to drive while one rear wheel was off the ground. Bells, whistles, and warnings came up on the dash. 5mph max til I shut it off and restarted it. Didn't do it fast, just didn't realize one tire was over a ditch. 2013 Chevy has been a real trooper up to this point.

Ha!

I've got a '14 Power Stroke and it just doesn't get out in the country all that much.

Mainly, because it cost 10 times more than my Dad gave for his first farm.... :>(

If you have not done it already, make sure that all the goop that came off the worn parts has been flushed out of the transmission--not the easiest thing to accomplish. Another place for goop to hide is the trans cooler.

Without the inside of the transmission being pristinely clean everywhere, there is a good chance that something will plug up and the trans will fail again fairly soon. Unfortunately BTDT. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

What? 2014 powerstroke doesn't get out in the country? It's your boulevard cruiser? Grocery getter? Strange description for that truck that cost that much.

Allan,

I sure do enjoy getting parts delivered to my door. The time, fuel, and whatnot, makes shopping online a win-win for me.
