rough sawn pine ,he had some and some is fresh sawn,that is why the different colors

That sure is a nice looking job and a great thing
to see! There are so many great old barns in my
area that are deteriorating and falling down. It
truly breaks my heart to see these old buildings
fall into disrepair.

the first thing my friend did was the roof,then little by little did siding,now it is all done,if he didnt do the roof,the barn would have been lost,he saved it.

Very nice, the lumber of choice for those barn projects here is Poplar but that pine sure made the barn look better. Like the door.
