Huge off topic....white whiskers..

And the ones in you nose are a foot long, thick as a T post, and stick straight out a nostril.

When I started turning gray I knew I was aging. When the gray moved to my face I owned up to it. When it hit my chest I realized I wasn't as young as I thought I was. When it went south of the border I knew I was as old as everyone else thought I was.

Thats how you know you are over 40......You spend longer cutting the hair in your nose and ears that the hair on top of your head!
Don't worry about it....it is a sign of distinction!
LOL.....Sam

And why white some places and not others? My side burns are grey/white, while my chin is still red. And the hair on my head, well glad to still have it , what ever colour it wants to be. Two of my boys ,one 20 and the oldest boy26 , are now bald. What a shock this was.

I don"t know that they actually grow faster, I think they just stand out more..... Beyond that I"ve got to say that I can completely understand and agree with every reply thus far.........

Don't know, but I really have to search to find the black ones anymore. I grow a beard because I'm too lazy to shave.

I had a beard for years, way before I met my wife. When it got real grey, I shaved it off. My wife saw me and said, that's not fair : you can shave it off and look 10 years younger just like that! Mark

I keep clean shaven as possible as I don't need their mind wandering thinking what my chest and back must look like. No one wants to know.lol

What are your in-laws hair pattern like? I always heard that you get your hair patterns through your mother's side.

Just be glad you guys have hair -anywhere! I'm on chemo for pancreatic cancer and don't have a hair on my body - anywhere. I have not shaved in months and months and miss it.

Must be a myth.
My dad was bald when in his early twenty's, all his 4 brothers were bald by the time they were 40.
On my Mothers side her brothers had a full head of hair into old age, one of them is 93, still covered.
My wife's Father and brothers have all full hair.
My two sons started balding when in their late twenty's while i have still most of it.

Roll of the dice me thinks

Unruh I hope you beat it. I'm pulling for ya. Marilyn's sis's hair is growing back after her chemo treatments. Still wears her wig in public but I can see her gray sideburns showing up. She's 54. Jim

hat sucks

High School friend had a full head of hair, but it was white as snow at 17 years of age.

Figure that one out.

Best of luck, hope you do well. My wife is a cancer survivor I have seen it but not lived it.

I have been lucky that my hair and whiskers have not turned gray or white . Most of my hair is silver . lol

Call me a sissy , but my wife is a beautician.. Ain't no grey hair here.. The beard is the first to show grey then the temples.. She said she wouldn't sleep with an old grey haired man....

Thank you for pulling for me, but pancreatic cancer is usually terminal. My oncologist "gave" me 8 or 9 months with chemo, 3 or 4 without. I'm at 13 months now and still feeling well - but hairless!

Unruh,

I am unsure of how to respond...other than I hope the best for you. I pray, and I hope you find that welcome.

D.

According to 1 John 5:13 and John 14:6, when "it" happens, I'm on my way to heaven! It can't get any better than that! I have no fear of that day.
