Full house at the Boxcar Express in Galesburg,IL with most of the "regulars" and quite a few new "members". I even got a new cap!

Kinda sad that Farmer John couldn't be with us today but we did get to look at his very nice collection of Oliver and Cockshutt tractors.
Oleblu and Kevin even fired up the "Brut" in Memorial to John.

As I stated downstairs, I had other obligations. Now I am really sorry I couldn't make it. Maybe next year.

David,
Note - We have expanded the Central Illinois YT Roundup to the IL/IA YT Convention.
Might even have it in the Quad Cities next year, or Bloomington or Dwight, IL?

Who knows till we get the wild hair

Kruser I wanted to come today but went to an auction to bid on a tractor I really wanted. Well I got skunked. I was out of the bidding almost in a flash. LOL

I can't see giving the price of a farm for a piece of IRON.

A great day, good food, several new people attended and most of the old ones. It was good to meet the new guys and say howdy to the regulars. I think it was a nice tribute to John, I believe he would have liked it. Hope everyone got home OK, we ran into pretty good snow about Aledo. Looking forward to next year. Chris

Really wanted to make the YT Roundup today, but have been ill and decided not to go. Didn't figure you folks wanted to be exposed to this crap.

All those wanting to host the 2015 Get-together need to e-mail kruser for an application. Don't delay, get started NOW! The application is 27 pages long and must be filled out in TRIPLICATE!!! A $5 filing fee MUST accompany the application or it will NOT be processed. For more info call kruser at BR549. (For an extra $10 your application could go to the top of the list.)

Sorry I missed you guys today. I thought would be able to get away and road trip to Galesburg. Unfortunately, this impending winter weather kept me bust making preparations for a couple of days that will be pretty tough for taking care of the cattle. I was surprised when I got your email about John. Guess you just never know. Looks like everybody had a good time and a nice day for you to do it.
See ya next year!
Bill

Glad you stopped in to chat - How's Wrigley doing?
PS: Lot of the "Old" guys but Lotta new blood too!
Hope to see you next year, if not before.
Jim

I certainly enjoyed it, THANKS for setting it up!
Maybe we need a summer meeting up north/west, then a winter meeting more south/east?

Billonthefarm - -sorry missed seeing you, again.

I had a great time yesterday and was glad to see everyone and meet some new folks. application is on the way. I'd like to vote for it to be in bloomington. Easy access via interstates and centralized location!

gotta go make some grits!

See a sign on the wall about the Lincoln-Douglass Debate. I'd make a bet that that weren't nothin but a puppy in comparison to the conversation in that restaurant...

Once again I"d say a great time was had by all! I know I certainly enjoyed myself. Seeing John"s tractor collection was a bonus. It doesn"t matter to me where next year"s get together is. As long as I"m not at work I"ll be there for sure!

Joey and I had a great time. We enjoyed all the conversations and seeing John's tractors. It was a little bitter sweet though. Wish we could have seen them all with him there to tell about them.

Anyway, I look forward to the next event. I would second the QC. But in all reality, I will travel to get there. It was 3 hours each way for us at 200 miles. But you just gotta want to do it.

Thanks again all for putting this together.

Brian and Joey Schmidt
