Sure looks good. I love chicken and turkey thighs.
Wife got home from work at six tonight and we decided to go for pizza. Currently -5 degrees at 8 pm.

Moose roast with potatoes, peas, & carrots grown in our garden. Home made rolls made from sour dough. & right now a Crown & coke.

Left over ham bone from Christmas cooked in Lima bean served over rice.

This tasted real good after working 10 calves through the chute and head gate this afternoon. Not nearly as cold as some of you folks but low 30's with a good breeze.

Jay,
They said on the national news tonight that chicken has surpassed sales of beef as of the new year. The wifey pulled some Thanksgiving, turkey soup stock out of the freezer yesterday, and made a big pot of soup with preserved vegies out of our garden. Sure hit the spot the last two days.

Feeling lazy not wanting to cook, went instead to the Chinese buffet. $6.50 with drink included for seniors. What else could a guy ask for. Feeling stuffed.

Best regards

I usually eat very simple food. Supper tonight was tomato based lentil stew: lentils, onions, potatos, rice, carrots, etc. Glass of water....

After the wife's Jenny Craig meat loaf diet dinner tonight. That KFC Chicken sounds mighty good right now. Have any left? Stan

18 oz. outlaw ribeye @ longhorn, only eat half of it, started out of the door with other half in to go box, little kid hostess ran into me and knocked it from my hand, hit the floor, made me mad as a bear for a minute, just walked out, should have asked for the manager and demanded half price of steak back, had just spent $85.00 there!!!!!!!

Aahhhhh, it's supper..... and for supper I had leftover Hormel HOT Chili, nuked a little justo cheese, a bottle of year old Sand Creek Brewery Cranberry Special Ale, some warm Salsa con Queso (cheese dip with stuff in it) with chips.

My natural gas heater has started workin' so I should stay warm under the covers! (8^)

The wife's homemade sloppy joe's which were pretty good. I bought a honey-baisted turkey breast for tomorrow so maybe some homemade stuffing to go along with it plus mashed potatoes.

Dam, and u lost out on your steak and scrambled eggs for breakfast tomarrow morning too! ;(

Ill be doing beef stew next week, I've got a 1/4 in the freezer,
from the half my brother and I got last fall and split.

Wife had stew meat in the crockpot and ready for the noodles, but oldest son call and said its your birthday dad. You and mom come on down to the Golden Corral and join us for supper. Hate it, the odometer just flip over to the 70's.

Home alone today, came in from the shop about 7:00, had a bottle of Schell's chiminy sweep beer while I built a fire and had hamburger, canned potatoes, sweet corn and sour kraut and multi-grain bread, washed down with a big mug of hot tea.

Mrs.sc crock-potted a London broil to fork tender, with cubed fresh potatoes, baby carrots, and green beans in a thick stew type gravy. Also made corn muffins and hot peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It doesn't get any better!
