They didn't riot when I went to school there, 'course we weren't winning at football, most folks were drunk on the weekends and Magic left us after two years.

We will probably get a complaint from some football hater again but I'm excited. The walk on linebacker, Elsworth, family lives 3 miles down the road from us.

I just hope they don't get too crazy in East Lansing tonight. I also hope my son makes it back home from Pasadena OK.

The 10:00 pm news showed a relatively quiet night, thanks to 13F and lots of snow. Bad weather makes good news, great win for MSU, Elsworth did a real job.

I'm watching the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl this evening. Announcer Chris Spielman describing one of the players - "He uses his legs to run."

I think Chris graduated from Ohio State.

Michigan State had about the most under rated team in college football this year was glad to see them beat Ohio State too.

If Michigan State can beat Ohio State, there is not much doubt they should have won the Rose Bowl. I am a buckeye and I was rooting for them.

Multi-tasking, JD- You can watch a ball game while being on here, and that way, neither seems to be as much a waste of time.

I spent much of yesterday doing a prognostication on my income tax (while watching the Rose Bowl). A worthy, though heartbreaking task. I'm self employed, and if I figure out how much I'm short right after the end of the year, I can do a 4th quarter payment by Jan. 15 and not get fined. I don't like for them coyotes to have my money any longer than necessary.

Glad the Spartans won. They seem to be the only school in the State that has a winning program,(Football,Basketball,and Hockey.

Grew up in Buckeyee land, went to OSU thereby Carmen Ohio is etched on my heart, but still rooted big time for MSU. Also support Michigan when they play non-Big Ten schools but acknowledge it isn't with the same enthusiasm. I believe Mark Dantonio is not only an excellent coach but also a good person.
