Merry Christmas! Early Morning

What time did the kids wake you up this morning? My daughter waited until 5:45 AM! Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Merry Christmas! I remember waiting up all night. My brothers and I would make a tent and stay up looking through comic books and playing until about 5am when we'd wake our parents up.

That's so cute when little ones entertain us on CHRISTmas morning . It's been many many years since I've had that enjoyment . But I do remember those days . One Christmas eve , I took a long stick , made tracks on the patio & up the bank as if the reindeer & sleigh had stopped there . My 2 daughters awoke us around 6am with their chatter & giggles . Then when they saw all those tracks in the snow , they were extremely excited , & it really made my efforts worth while .That was 40 yrs ago .I tend to live too much in the past , but memories keep me going . Enjoy your children as much as possible when they are younger . God bles, Ken

raw carrots on Christmas Eve; yes, cookies for Santa
and carrots for reindeer, half eaten of course to
prove Santa was really there. well let's see, that
would be about 35 years ago. with grandkids we
would mix oats and glitter together so they could
scatter on their yard for the reindeer to find the
way to their house. well let's see, that would be
about, uh, uh.

No kids, but the power company woke me up by turning the power back on at 5AM after being out for a bit over 40 hours.

I forgave them...
