Anyone have issues with buying items from Olney Gardiner in

Wondering if anyone else that bought items from Olney Gardiner - Bill Gardiner in east Hampton NY ? Same guy and I bought the JD spinouts [ or I thought I did ] in the pic . They were listed here about a month and a half ago . Paid for them with two USPS money orders $ 1,500.00 total and all was well as he agreed to drop them off at a shipping terminal not far away for some additional fuel money . Set the shipping up and now no response to calls or emails . Go to photo ad archives and search " Gardiner " and you will see his other ads . If anyone bought any of the other items [ or attempted to ] please email me . Interesting as the address he had in the spinout ad is listed as the law office of Olney Gardiner . Anyways if anyone has further info on this please contact me as he may have had a mishap or ? Don't know but it ain't lookin reel good !!!!!!!!!! Dave

Just got a response on this and there seems to be an explanation for the delays . This is an amazing tool and it cleared up my concerns .

A nod to Olney is due here ! To address the response I got - Yes the dealings I had with him were excellent and he knew his stuff well and seemed a real straight guy . Yeah on the slow response bit . Guilty of much worse meeself !! My concern was of course identity theft and random pistures . If that had been the case he would not have been getting my calls or emails . SCAM to put it short . Been a valuable lesson to me and I hope he understands .

I have a lot of respect for someone. That admits when they made a mistake. I also understand your concern about a rip off. I think he will also.
