Calling Oliver People, Need Help...

Hi all, working on getting my Oliver Cletrac HG back, but I would like to know what year it is, the guy that has it says he thinks it is an Oliver OC-3, but I think he is full of bs... :) I am sure it is a Cletrac HG, but I want to confirm by a serial number, and we can't find one??? Any help, and pictures would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks, Bryce

Serial number plate was on the rear of the right hand frame rail on an HG. They were often obliterated by the kit to improve the transmission frame connection. The OC 3 serial plates were usually on the bell housing. An easy test is the HG front idlers had large round holes in them and the OC 3 had solid idlers. Not sure exactly when the change was though.

That's the problem. The last year or two of HG production they used the same solid wheels as the OC3,so what you think is an OC3 might be a late HG,but yea,if it has the wheels with the holes it's most likely an HG.

I have an HG 42. It was re-powered when I got it so I then re-powered it with an Oliver 60 engine. I need to get it in the shop but seems my shop has a Corvette in it.
The top picture is the HG 42 and the bottom is of an OC-3
