Which tractor was the last to offer a belt pulley as an option. I know the two cylnders would have been the last for deere, but I was wondering which manufacturer was the last to offer it.

I believe Oliver had them for the XX50 series. Probably the XX55 series and if they fit those, they would have fit the early Whites.

Deere offered a belt pulley for 4010 3010 bolted on the rear PTO

Case offered them on the "30" series, which ended in 1969. The last ones were an attachment that mounted over the PTO shaft.

Massey 35 had a belt pulley gearbox on the PTO that could be fitted and that tractor is still made under another name which I can't recall. I don't know if they still make the pulley and gearbox, though.

There was a belt pulley attachment offered for the 706/806 tractors, it bolted over the pto. I don't know how late it was offered, but if you had one, it would bolt on to tractors built into the 1980's. -Andy

The Ford ones bolted onto the pto housing with 4 bolts.

Same option available in the x600 series, too. That would take it to '81. I've never checked, but I think the bolt pattern is the same for the series 10's and 10 II's...that would take you to around '90 or '91.

My 1963 D17 Series III has a spot for one, but on the Series IV (1964-1967) that spot has the independent hyd pump.

Ford is for a short 1 and 1/8th shaft. Standard PTO now it 1 and 3/8th.

See my reply to the OP though, I got you all beat!!! LOL

As I stated below I got you all beat.

I have a Eicher 241 that came with the rear pulley that bolts over the PTO. Mine is a 1994 model and the 241 is still being made. Pretty sure the BP is also.

Did the Argentinian 730's have a way to attach a BP?

The ones I have seen with the foot Clutch have a cover over the clutch and no pulley.

Massey Fergusons made right to this day still can be fitted with the belt pulley option. Many of these tractors are sold into 3rd world countries and the belt pulley would be counted as a modern attachment!

I've got one of those in the barn. I was told my dad used it on the 4010 a couple times. It was before I was born so I don't know for sure.

The Argentina 730"s left the factory with a hand clutch and belt pulley . Due to the fact the locals could not figure out a hand clutch And kept pushing the left brake pedal instead. A mass conversion was performed on many of the 730"s to a foot clutch.

Zach commented that the Massey 35's are still being made under some name. I can confirm that they are still being made and under the Massey Ferguson name.

You see a number of them in India at least. That is where my Eicher is from and it would make sense that the BP would still be available for those as well.

I think there is a difference in "tractor made with a belt pulley" to "tractor with PTO adaptor pulley"

We had a brand new IH 384 in 1980 that had a PTO adaptor pulley since we used it to run a belt powered grain grinder.

I sold the PTO pulley a few years ago, didn't have an IH it fit anymore.

We have a PTO pulley to fit our 1989 MF 240...

So which tractor was the last with belt pulley that was totally separate from the PTO?

I think the belt pulley attachment was still offered in the John Deere 40 series utility tractors catalog. Eicher still offers it today for their India made tractors. Otherwise, probably about 1965 was the last year you could bolt up a separate pulley. You can fit one onto a 190 Allis in the normal place. You could also get one one a Case 930 6 speed (last of the chain drives).
