OT what to do in a cold spell

we have had an unusually cold start to Dec. although it hit 72 yesterday. so what do you do when its cold. go in the shop and light your forge and bang on some iron.

Cold spell 72@ huh?

It's 22@ here today, but at least some sun is getting through. Time for some venison, football, and overtime to help pay for springs projects.
 
It was -32 Celcius yesterday morning when I left for work. Should have rolled over and hugged the wife a bit longer.
 
Shawl I saw on youtube. The instructions were in Spanish and I speak non, but I'm good at looking at photos. LOL Most of the time I make scarfs. We will see if this one sells.

AHHH! Brown Swiss!!!
I worked on a dairy farm when I was in High School that had a registered Brown Swiss Herd. The cow barn looked much like yours. Magnificent cows, good temperment and few cows can out produce them.
 
I run into the house to warm up more often.
I spend more time driving around in the tractor with the heated cab.
Although I enjoyed the warm weather today as it got up to about 28 degrees. I'm looking forward to the freezing rain tomorrow meaning its not going to be that cold. I just hope the ice doesn't take the power lines out. Then I can spend the day nursing the generators.
 
Started out at 4:30 plowing driveways in the neighborhood.. Put the M-1031 Chevy away.. Fired up the coffee pot and made breakfast and watched " Dog the Bounty Hunter ".. Hit the recliner with the blanket and " dump kitty " on my lap.. Life is good.. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
