OT Energy Tax Credits for Pole buildings????

Question. Can I take any Energy Tax credits for the Bubble wrap and insulation I installed in my new 36 x 56 Pole building shop for 2013?

The tax credits I know about are only for homes and are up to $500. There may be some business ones.

I asked my CPA that exact question the other day. She said the tax credits apply to your residence, only.

If it is a commercial building and meets certain standards the answer is yes, as long as you put the building in service by 12-31-2013. If it is a farm building and you depreciate the building this is the last year of bonus depreciation so also must be in service prior to 12-31-2013.
