MT cultivator lift pipes

Can anybody give me the dimensions on the lift pipes that run from the rear lift arms to the front gangs on a JD MT cultivator? I have tried to find a salvage set and nobody has them so I guess I will have to make my own and i need the correct pipe size ID and OD and the length. If anybody has an extra set they want to sell I am definetly interested.
Thanks

Not positive, but I think those lift rods were the same size as 1" pipe. Pipe is measured by ID so 1" pipe would have an OD of roughly 1 1/4" Hope this helps. Dale

They are not just 'pipes'.They are a thicker wall 'structural' tubeing. For your purpose,'pipe' would suffice.I'm thinking 1" or 1 1/4".As for length,Should fairly to figure out.Make a 'mockup' and play with it a bit till you get it 'right'/satisfactory.

As I recall, from some 40 years ago, my MT had an adjustment on the lift rods. Build them with a clevis on one end to the worker lift arm, and use a piece of allthread or a long threaded bolt through a nut welded to the rockshaft end to hook through the rockshaft arm, so you can adjust the actual length of the rod to what you need.

I have a two row cultivator that fits an A and a 60. If it is the same as mine I can give you the dimensions, and maybe some picks. It is a model 20 cultivator . I think the lift rods are the same as a model 200. I'm missing a couple parts to get mine working also. You can go to a John Deere parts web site and look at there parts break down. Dale

There were different length's for the different cultivators. Ain't very hard to figure out what you need. Measure the lift hole size for the solid bent part.(front and back are the same size but the back is just a stub with the pipe welded on) Pipe size will be just what slides over it on the straight end & weld it on the rear one. Raise the cultivators up and chain them at the height you want. Lift both bars and mark one a couple inches back to cut. (should have about two inches of bar below the set collar inside the pipe) Hope this helps.
