I know a man near Sabine, Mn. that has a 110 Horse Power Case steam engine in his living room.
Does anyone know of any other unusual decor that people have in their homes?
I'm talking about permant fixtures, not the xmas junk that people put up this time of year.

i knew a man that had a casket with a body , and a glass top in his liveing room. he sold it and moved to fla. wally

I can understand anyone wanting to buy a glass top but who would buy a casket with a body?

I have a small block Chrysler intake manifold with Holley carburetor on my coffee table in the living room. All painted up nice with the carb rebuilt. Came off the "new" car ('72 Dodge with 50k miles that was always garaged) I bought when my wife got sick and we had to travel a lot for medical treatments. I put an Edelbrock intake with a Carter AFB on the car. Been there for several years now.

That is the oddest thing around my place. I don't count the game room with old pinball machines, antique radios, and an old slot machine.

I have been in many homes with my work, I saw an old treadle sewing machine with a piece of glass on top as a table, an upright piano action (hammers with all the mechanism that move them) hanging on the wall.

Years ago I had a motorcycle in the living room for the winter months. I had forgotten all about it but the wife brought it up recently.

One of my lodge brothers kept his casket in his living room, a pine box. Interesting guy, he was 100 when he died, and a ww1 vet.

The local funeral parlor has open caskets with bodies in their main room all the while, and they even get payed to display them, LOL.

pretty cool hearing all the stuff in the livin room ,, I have granpa weyers scythe, and his crosscut saw , anhd a claw hammer , along with serveral nails and a brick from the home place that recently burnt,, granpabuilt the house in 1908 ..

I have an old Johnson boat motor in my spare bathroom as part of the fishing theme in there...fits perfectly in the corner.

I love kerosene lamps and have three Angle Lamps in my living room. They were very expensive and stopped in 1928. They make a beautiful paper white lite. Is this unusual enough? How about the full size Canada goose decoy with fully extended wins in hanging in the corner?

I had a big block chevy tunnel ram with carbs and linkages on the dining room table for two years.

Wife wasn"t thrilled, buddies loved it, they thought I had the coolest wife ever.
