Another question for all you tractor guys an gals has anyone come up with an idea to get brakes on these old B414 tractors...The brakes on them stink and it sure would be nice to put your foot on the pedal and it would stop or at least slow down..Thanks in advance
 

If they are the brakes I think, then you have to tear em down sand up the metal surfaces and the left side tends to get oil on the discs. so after you replace the discs seal around the housing with silicone to keep oil and water out.
 
Hi Harry, when we had a B414D, it was yearly maintenance to tear the brakes apart, clean the ramps and rollers and scuff the glaze off the disk surfaces. The brakes were improved on the newer models 434, 444 and 384.

the brakes were not improved very much though.
About the same on my 2444 (industrial 444).
