I fired up the Farmall 450 to move some snow this morn.
I had to get out there early before the neighbor
plowed my yard full of rocks/ gravel, AGAIN.

This fall I begged him to please don't help me.
good luck

I have a neighbor like that too. He's retired and likes to plow as he knows some of us head out to work. He cannot seem to figure out why he has to put a load of limestone on his driveway every other year. Plus he peels huge chunks of sod if the grounds isn't 100% froze. He doesn't run shoes on his blade.
I finally told him I love his help but I like to "play" on my machines so I will just do my drive when I get home.
We all have 800 ft gravel driveways. In the spring he jumps on his $10k ex mark mover and goes. It sounds like small arms fire as he mows next to his drive. He shoots gravel everywhere. Glad there is a 3/8 mile between our driveways so I don't get hit by the shrapnel flying.

I had a nice neighbor that would occasionally stopby and plow with his truck and did a decent job. Trouble is that my drive is about 400 feet long with a gradual slope out and He would always push a big pile of snow next to the garage. When the snow melted, I'd always have a mess in my gravel drive for three weeks before that pile would melt. I shove ALL the snow down to where it drains.

This summer, I poured two 12 by 45 concrete pads on either side of the 10 by 45 concrete driveway. The gravel/ rocks come from across the street where he owns the apartment building. I just don't want that stuff in my grass.

I share a long driveway that divides at the top to my house and my neighbor. My wife gets mad when the neighbor doesn't plow even though I keep telling her it's better this way as I know he would have gravel all over the place if he plowed it. His portion of the driveway after the divide is a mess and I don't want the shared portion to look anything like that!

most guys that hire out to plow driveways in the winter do landscape work in the spring.
