what are you guys and gals thankful for

Thankful this year is almost over. What a nightmare. Lost 8 calves this spring in the mud and cold, planted almost all of my corn in June, finished the 23rd. Put up hay late,a lot of it got rained on,then it quit raining altogether. Filled silo in October, just finished picking corn yesterday, had to pile a bunch on the ground. I still need, and I mean need to get some stalks baled and some chopped and blown in the barn for bedding or I won't have enough feed or bedding, but we have snow now,so I don't know how that's gonna go.
Another year like this and next year I'll be thankful for finally having the good sense to quit.

I am thankful for my son amd daughter and their people and my sister. My wife and I both had to be at work this afternoon and they stayed to put stuff away clean the kitchen(usually my job that I lovingly do) and take care of letting our 3 dogs out. Thankful that my job needs to be performed I am a nurse; but upset my wife who works for Wallyworld had to succumb to the greed of corporate America so shoppers who are deep in debt can go even deeper.
Sorry to sound bitter, but I have a hard time understanding retail management anymore. I hope you all have a very blessed day

I'm sure gonna try. Looks like we're good til late Wednesday. Just afraid it'll go from snow to a greasy muddy mess. I'll have to take what I can get.

I am thankful for my Wife and Daughter first and foremost. My health, and this nice warm home. I am also thankful that I can still use my sixty plus year old tractors productively. I am afterall, an old iron nutcase! :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thankful everyday not just at the Holidays. My Lord is good to me and my family daily. My grandson called this week and he is 6 and got his first deer, dont take much to make me proud and thankful. Then you take today when you and I try to eat everything in site so you dont have to eat it the next week,go figure, yes God is G-o-o-d even when we dont deserve it.

I'm with Virgil! All the crummy weather and crummy jobs don't really mean a hoot to me. But NONE of my family is being blown up, burned out or shot because we're Christians.
In spite of Mr. external_link, still proud and thankful to be born in America!

I cooked a turkey today. Along with dressing and gravy etc.
Shared it with my mother, brother, three sisters and their families.
My father couldn't be there. Neither could my grandparents.
I'm thankful for being able to share the holidays with my family
while they're still here.

Thankful for Jesus my wife and family. Had a nice hay ride with my wagon and M Farmall after turkey dinner. Happy Thanksgiviing to all.

Family and friends and the health and time to enjoy them. A warm home and enough to eat.

Living in a relatively free nation where we can worship freely.

An old, rusty Farmall Regular that has been a really enjoyable project that my husband and I are doing together - I am the parts getter...
so I am thankful for the internet or we'd never have located all the parts she needed and I'd never have found YT which is a great group of folks.

Digital cameras... for my junkyard art.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. And thank you for the times you have answered questions for us.

After bi-lateral knee replacements last Nov 30 then second surgery April 10 to place my knee caps back in front from from 60 degrees off to the side [ best knee guy in the country Ha ha ] That I have the leg strength to make it through a day of work and that I am working Turkey was nice though.Alot of other things too.

I am glad that I am not poor. I have been doing some mission work (house repair) among the poor.

I think the government should require courses for money management and homemaking for those on welfare.

Despite loosing my health coverage due to pole smoking external_linkcare, at least I didn't wake up in the back of a U-haul today.

I'm thankful that all of the wife's relatives didn't show up today. We had dinner here to take some pressure off her mom. Our house isn't very big and with all of em it would have been to crowded for me.

Have alot to be thankfull for this year. Hay was good, small corn acreage was just fair. Ponds are not full yet. Try to build the cow herd back after hay shortage last winter. All the family is in good health. Me, just aches and pains till I get to moving each day.

I am thankful for each and every day that is bestowed upon me! I am thankful for my three children and that I have a roof over my head. My family has suffered some serious setbacks during the last three or four years, but we are still pulling together, and offering praise to the Great One who gives us all good things!

I am thankful that I have the incite to allow my religion form my politics, instead of my politics for my religion. Matt. 25:40

LOL
They did have sweet potatoes yesterday which are just as awful.
But I just passed them along as they went around the dinner table.
Come to think of it, I should have added that I'm thankful that I don't eat squash. :)

I am real thankful for my family, my health, full time employment, good friends, good food.

What I am NOT thankful for are all the bums in DC. That health care bill is going to be a real mess next year.
