I have nearly a gallon of Bondo brand auto body filler. It was misplace for several years and is quite stiff--or dried somewhat.
It's no big deal but I hate to throw it away, since I use it for many different projects, so is there any way to soften it.

Warm it to 80* or so and stir. if no joy, the volitile components have started to cross link and it will still harden, but will be as stiff as it is. Jim

I had a small --not critical--patch job to do, so I heated and stirred as I could. It hardened just fine but was extremely hard to work with. I just bought a new quart can and used most of it.
Surprising of the many uses this stuff has.
I even looked up the contents but have no idea of what ingredient has dried. Guess I'll just throw it away.

They make some stuff called honey to add to your filler. It works for old filler that has gotten stiff or you can add it to new filler to thin it and make a glaze for filling scratches and pin holes. All the body supply shops here carry it. It comes in a square pint can with a green label.

THANKS--just found it at Amazon.

I"ve put the can in a paint shaker when the liquid separated to the top of a can I had on the shelf for a long time. Probably could do the same after you"ve added the plastic honey. Bill
